STAT 673 Journal Article Assignment
Due by Wed. Dec. 11 (or earlier!)
To demonstrate the importance of time series concepts in the literature,
you may choose a journal article of interest to you
and write a report.
This is an individual assignment.

From the above Guideliness your report should include:
- Abstract or Summary
- Introduction
- Methodology
- Results
- Conclusions, etc.
- Bibliolography (if needed)
The report should be 3-5 pages, 12 point font, one inch margins, and
single-spaced.
The 3-5 pages does not include figures, tables, nor bibliography.

Guidelines for 5-8 minute presentation (+ 2 min for questions): (on M or W, Dec. 9 or 11)
No slides are allowed. Use of whiteboard is allowed.
- Introduction (statement of problem)
- Background (sources of data, etc.)
- Approaches to problem
- Results (key points you want audience to remember)
- Conclusions/summary, further work
