I was elected Fellow of the American Statistical Association in August 2010. Here are the news blurbs at SDSU and the ASA Press Release.

I served as Editor of the Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics jointly sponsored by the American Statistical Association, the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, and the Interface Foundation of North America. Check out some publicity about the position (no, I did not come up with the article headline!).
